Could use some help if and would appreciate anyones assistance.
I have a table with a multiple columns, one of the columns, lets call it "Application Details ".
Inside the Application Details column there are thousands of rows. Some of the rows start with the following
(XY16-078) some other words blah blah blah
(XY15-111) blah blah blah (123422) some more words
How do I select only the XY16-078 & XY15-111 and write them to a new column , new_col, for the corresponding line? Like the below
Application Details | new_col
(XY16-078) some other words | XY16-078
(XY15-111) blah blah blah | XY15-111
Hope that makes sense. Basically I need to copy the XY part and move it to a new colum on the right :)
Thanks guys look forward to your replies
